Lampwork beads

Lampwork-ing :  is a type of glasswork that uses a gas fueled torch to melt rods and tubes of clear and coloured glass. Once in a molten state, the glass is formed by blowing and shaping with a variety of tools and hand movements.

It's been 2 months now, since I was so into lampworking. Now I am still on fire with this activity.
Really do hope one day I can have my own studio to do all these fun stuff..
First few beads I made were not really nice at all..!   See above photo.


After about 4 sessions, my hands start to know what to do when handled those tools. See below left photo.( I'll post few of tools photo in future ).  My favourite beads are those on the right

                            

Last week, I learned new thing. Make leaf shape-beads. It was very difficult. My first attempt on this new skill result with a broken bead. What a shame. It had quite nicely shaped.
